Super nice host and will introduce you to all the board games in this universe. This store itself has around 800 board games for you to choose from. The cafe host game night on Meetup every Friday. Even for non board game person like myself, this is definitely a venue for you to meet interesting people from all over the world and spend some fun time together.

I stumbled across this place during my holiday to Fukuoka and instantly fell in love with it. The moment I came in, the owner (who is American so I was able to speak English to) was very welcoming and soon treated me like a close friend. We had a good chat about board games and he offered to play 2-player games with me, which I happily accepted. The cost to play was very reasonable and it came with a free drink. On my second visit, I had a strawberry shake which was very delicious. The cafe itself was a bit cramped compared to others I've been to, but it was very cozy to me. It had a large library of great games and the playing areas were amazing. They were covered in tatami mats with quality tables, they had useful containers nearby for components, and cushions to sit. But instead of having to cross your legs under the table, each one had a trench underneath so you would sit down like you would on chairs. This was fantastic for someone tall like me. I had a real blast there playing games with the owner and I cannot recommend this place enough. I look forward to visiting this cafe in the future.

Very much recommend!! Tons of games and really tasty Plum Wine (Umeshu). For 1500¥ per person you can have a big table to your group of even 6-8 people!! It sounds a lot but you can game as long as you want!

An instant home away from home. This was one of the top spots from our trip to Japan. Nate the owner was so friendly and was delighted to play some games with me whilst I had a few hours on my own. Great value, lovely smoothie, incredible selection of games and an outstanding host. Can’t wait to see the other branch in Kyoto!

Good smoothies, even better atmosphere! Highly recommend if you're after some interesting and fun entertainment. There's a billion different board games to choose from to play while you drink and snack, you can either play alone or join another group even. Very chill and welcoming vibes.

If you saw this place and are interested enough to dive into the reviews, just go already. The owner is very knowledgeable and speaks Japanese and English fluently so it’s VERY tourist friendly. The games are very abundant and they are patient enough to explain the rules, or work through it with you to make sure you’re equipped to play. I fully recommend. I had a LOT or fun here. Also it’s on the 4th floor but there are clear directions on their website.

Such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy some board games. With a massive selection of board games, u can frequent this place for years and experience a different game everytime. The owner Nate-san is super friendly and will explains the games in japanese or English, and would recommend games based on your preference and party size. Also every Friday they hold a event where everyone plays together, a great way to meet people and make friends in my opinion, also helpful if your studying japanese P.S, don't miss out on the smoothie, hands down best smoothies in town (go for the mango smoothie)

Pretty chilled atmosphere. I have started joining regularly the meetup on Friday night and I enjoy it quite a bit. The owner and the veteran players can lead you into any game with ease. Also good place if you are looking for language exchange. Recommended.
